ABOUT
Apartments Pod Putimskou branou are situated in the center of former royal city of Písek, near Otava river. Main square is only 350 meters distant, dominant feature of Písek - church´s sighseeing tower only 300 meters. Right next to the house, there are grocery shop and swimming pool. Train station and bus station are reachable on foot in approx 12 minutes. Close surrounding invites also hiking and cycling lovers - only few steps from our main door start famous routes.

Other big advantage of our apartment house is its origin. The house was built in 16 th century as a part of former Primate´s settlement - Svantle court. During big house´s reconstruction (in 2017), original stone walls were uncovered. Everybody who likes historical beauties will be really fascinated during his stay in our apartments. Come and enjoy history :-)

You can find equipped kitchenette in both apartments. Breakfast can be served by prior arrangement. Due to COVID pandemia only take away breakfast possible.

You can see green garden from Linda apartment. In Elisabeth apartment you can use stove.

History
Písek historical center offers unique places to visit. Among others: Juditas bridge (the eldest bridge in central Europe), Písek castle or sighseeing church tower

Every time something happens :-). Písek surprises with its cultural program during summer season
Family activities
Families with children can spend whole day in playing center Sladovna. As an experienced parents, we can give you many other tips :-)
Sport, leisure Activities
Really many options: swimming pool, canoeing on the river Otava, climbing, hiking and cycle trials, horse riding or horse-drawn carriages
ZOOs
Crocodile ZOO has the second biggest amount of these reptiles in the world! Worth trying is also a small private ZOO with many animal species
Beer, gastronomy
Czech Republic without tasting local beer? No way :-). You can try really nice pieces in Písek. Also food won´t be problem with our advice ;-)
